How to Disable USB ports on Windows via Registry

USB ports on your computer are useful for you but they are vulnerable too. If you want to prevent anyone from copying your data through USB ports and or to stop them spreading viruses through USB then you should Disable USB ports.

3. Now simply navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usbstor.

4. Double Click on Start and in the Value data box enter 4 and click on Ok.

5. Close the Registry editor and you will see the USB ports are disabled.

6. If you want to re-enable the USB ports then enter 3 in the Value Data box in step 5.

This will make your PC invulnerable from data theft and malware which usually spread from the USB ports. This works on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Wndows 8.

As we have so many festivals we wish to our friends and family. Wishing them in English is good idea but somehow it is very cool to greet them in Hindi or Marathi. If you are thinking that it is not possible or is too much difficult to type in your android phone or tablet then you are wrong. You can type in Hindi or in Marathi from your android very easily.

There are two things you can do, one is by changing your keypad type and the second is to use a third party app .

Changing Keypad type

 So lets start with this trick. On your android phone you have two types of keypad one is English US Android Keyboard (AOSP) and another is Indic keyPad (Reveire smartpad). So with the English US Android Keypad you cannot type in Hindi. To be able to type in Hindi or Marathi you need to change your Keypad type. You can do it very easily. Go to Settings on your Android phone, scroll down and click on Language & input. Now you will see something like Keyboard & input methods, just below that there is an option called Default. Now click on that and you will see one pop up box saying Chose input method. And here click on Indic KeyPad.

Now To type in Hindi or Marathi Go and click on text box you will see your keyboard layout will be changed and will look something like in the above image. Now click on the Pred On and start typing in Hindi or Marathi that is Devnagari.

 Third Party App

This is the second way to type in Hindi or Marathi from your Android . There are plenty of Apps available to type in Hindi or Marathi. Just Download these Apps and start typing in Hindi or Marathi. Use App like Marathi Keyboard. Its simple and integrate itself with your keyboard. You just have to start typing in Hindi but with English alphabates like shown in the image below.

Sometimes on Linux machines you cannot mount the storage devices you want. Sometimes you don't even know what is the name given to that device by Linux system. So how to find out that and How to mount a Hard disk or a USB drive using simple Linux commands.

Mount any Hard disk or USB drive in Linux mint

First use this command & create a mount point for the HDD or USB drive.

sudo mkdir /media/newdisk

Now  use this command t find out what devices are connected and are still unmounted.

dmesg | tail

& now the final step! Use the following command to mount the HDD or USB drive.

sudo mount /dev/Your_Disk_name /media/newdisk

First open Pen drive. Then press Windows + R and type CMD and hit Enter. Then type Location of your Pen drive for e.g. F:\ or J:\  . You can find it just by clicking once on the address bar [Remember first open pen drive location then click and copy].

After that copy that address and paste in cmd and hit enter. 

Then type  attrib -r -a -s -h *.*  in CMD and hit Enter. This will unhide every file and folder from Pen drive. Then find any autorun.inf file there.Once you got that remove it(Shift + Delete). And now you are ready to remove that nasty virus and other infected files. Enjoy!

Here are few tweaks to download torrents with rapid speed.

• Update or reinstall your torrent client.
• Try not to download many files from the same torrent website. For instance avoid using TPB only use others too like torrenthound or isohunt, there are many of them. So the main thing to kept in mind is download torrents from that torrent website that you haven't use much. 
• Update trackers. Right click on torrent [downloading list in the torrent client] and then chose update trackers.
• Use .torrent files rather than magnet links because magnet links first download the metadata which is the basic info about that torrent file and .torrent files are contaned with the metadata of the torrent you are gonna download.
• Try changing ports in torrent client. You can do this in torrent client. So for utorrent click on options and then go to Preferences. There you can change the port. After changing a port click on Apply and then OK. You can also check that check box to randomize port each time.
• You can also set up utorrent connection. To do this press ctrl + G and then select your nearest server and your upload speed and then click on the run test. This will configure the network for your utorrent and give you minimum speed of your connection i.e. the minimum downloading speed you get while downloading from browser.
• Chose torrent with maximum seeders and minimum leachers.

Again listen all these tricks works for me may not work for you but don't let the hope go. Try it test it then comment about it.

Disk defragmentation

As per Microsoft,

Fragmentation happens to a hard disk over time as you save, change, or delete files. The changes that you save to a file are often stored at a location on the hard disk that's different from the original file. Additional changes are saved to even more locations. Over time, both the file and the hard disk itself become fragmented, and your computer slows down as it has to look in many different places to open a file.

 Open my computers then select any drive which you want to defragment and right click on it. Then go to properties and then tools. There you will see defragment now and windows will start defragmenting that drive.

Drivers.

If you haven't upgraded your computers drivers then you are missing something. Because companies introduces new versions of drivers for you and you have to install it in order to improve your computers speed.

Junk softwares.

If you had so many programs installed then your pc will definitely becomes slow. Remove all unnecessary or junk softwares from your computer.
